Music Legends & Great Steak

There's an interesting flavor of music influences at Doe's Eat Place. If these walls could talk...some fascinating threads of music history would be heard. When you are at Doe's, you can kind of feel the undercurrent of excitment. There's that hint of the delta blues from the memorabilia on the walls. There's also that moment of awe, all too often, when legendary performers and crews find their way to the estblishment in search of our world class service and down home good eats.

Our musical roots spread far and wide. Doe's Eat Place has not only served some of the best known artists in the industry, we've sponsored events, radio, and legendary moments of entertainment rare to a steak house. Of course, we're not just any steak house. That is, of course, why it is not uncommon to see someone from the music industry in house.

The staff at Doe's Eat Place have a lot of fun stories, like when Country Music great Joe Nichols made an appearance and ordered up some grub. One of our special projects staff, Tracy Crain, has served as the official photographer at events for legends like James Taylor, KISS, entertainers on American Idol, Poison and more. She always makes it a point to visit Doe's before a big event. On the night she served as the official photographer for Bob Seger at Verizon Arena, his crew was also in-house with her. Some memorabilia from that evening can be seen along the walls of the infamous "Power Room" at Doe's.

There's other unique entertainers and stars, like Sweet Connie, who is often featured in rock documentaries and magazines world wide, that visit on a regular basis, often bringing t-shirts and other concert memorabilia from tours passing through town.

Doe's Eat Place is not geared toward live music performances, but they do play host to and serve some of the most amazing industry talent. You could say that's part of what makes Doe's experience so interesting and fun.
